The Kyokushinkai Engadin school is one of ten other schools within the Swiss Kyokushinkan Organisation. We work in close partnership with the Karate Center Trimmis with Sensei Yves Mathis of Trimmis being our Chief Examiner. Sensei Yves is a regular visitor at our school to deliver training. In addition, our students often participate in events and train alongside the students of the Karate Center Trimmis. |
Our Teachers
My name is Ryan. I am from Ireland originally and I am a school teacher in the Engadin. I have studied Karate for 9 years.
I love Kyokushin Karate because the training is fun and there is always the challenge to improve my performance. There have been so many milestones over the last few years where I have accomplished goals that I didn't think was possible. I am grateful to all of the people in our Karate family who continue to push me to perform better. |
My name is Natalia. I am 40 years old. Apart from being a wife, I am the mother of two "karatekas" (karate students). I grew up in Fillisur and S-Chanf, I went to school in the Engadin. My family and I have lived in Samedan for 11 years.
I became interested in Karate through my children. I like Karate because it strengthens the self by developing self-confidence, teamwork and improved concentration, both in children and adults. Everyone can learn karate and it is good for the body and mind. |
